The route
One full route is open. Our senior tech is moving out of state, and you'd take it over in your first week: 60 to 85 jobs a month across Orlando and Central Florida. Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, Windermere, Lake Nona, Kissimmee, Sanford, Oviedo, Winter Garden.
The work
Dispatch fills your day and the route's on your phone every morning. You diagnose it, you pull the model and serial, you quote it, you fix it. Mostly Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE and Frigidaire, with enough Sub-Zero, Viking, Bosch and Thermador that it helps to know them. Invoices go out on their own and most payments collect themselves. Nobody's asking you to sell anything.
What you need
- Two years or more on residential appliances
- You can work a fault from symptom to fix on your own. Questions are fine. Needing a walkthrough on every job isn't.
- Your own hand tools, multimeter included, and a vehicle you can rely on. We pay your mileage back separately.
- A Florida driver's license
- EPA 608 for sealed-system work. If you don't have it yet, we'll pay to get you certified.
How pay actually works
A guaranteed hourly base
Every hour you work, whether the week is packed or dead. A lot of shops around Orlando pay commission only. Their phone stops ringing, you stop eating. We don't run it that way.
Plus 5% of the labor line
On every job you finish. At the volume we're running now that's about $4 to $5 an hour on top of your base. More jobs on the route, more of it.
All mileage reimbursed
You drive your own vehicle, so we pay your mileage back separately. It doesn't come out of your rate.
We set your base at the working interview, once we've seen you work. Experience, the brands you actually know, whether you're 608 certified. We look at it again at 90 days.
This is a W-2 position paid every two weeks, with a statement showing every job and every number. Earnings vary with experience, efficiency, job volume and hours worked. All compensation complies with applicable federal and Florida wage and hour laws, including minimum wage requirements.

Someone came out the same day I called and diagnosed the problem with my Samsung front-loading washing machine in just a few minutes. Andrew was prompt and courteous. It was late on a Friday so we had to wait a couple of days for the part to come in, then he came back Monday and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. It seemed a little pricey but they offer a discount to new customers and didn't charge a credit card fee. It would have cost at least double to replace the whole washer, and it's running good as new again, so I can't complain!
