A guaranteed hourly base
Every hour you work, whether the week is packed or dead. A lot of shops around Orlando pay commission only. Their phone stops ringing, you stop eating. We don't run it that way.
Plus 5% of the labor line
On every job you finish. At the volume we're running now that's about $4 to $5 an hour on top of your base. More jobs on the route, more of it.
All mileage reimbursed
You drive your own vehicle, so we pay your mileage back separately. It doesn't come out of your rate.
We set your base at the working interview, once we've seen you work. Experience, the brands you actually know, whether you're 608 certified. We look at it again at 90 days.
This is a W-2 position paid weekly, with a statement showing every job and every number. Earnings vary with experience, efficiency, job volume and hours worked. All compensation complies with applicable federal and Florida wage and hour laws, including minimum wage requirements.

You diagnose it, you pull the model and serial, you quote it, you fix it. Got a real question? Call. We're a small shop, not a call center.
Parts, inside simple rules
You hunt down the right part and order it inside simple rules. From there, tracking and the return-trip rebooking are on us.
Paperwork, mostly off your plate
Invoices go out on their own and most payments collect themselves. Some days you'll take a payment at the door. That's the job.
What we look for
Two years or more on residential appliances
Fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and ranges. If you're strong on HVAC or electrical and want to cross over, talk to us.
You diagnose on your own
You can work a fault from symptom to fix. Questions are fine. Needing a walkthrough on every job isn't.
EPA 608
You need it for sealed-system work. If you don't have it yet, we'll pay to get you certified.
Clean and respectful in someone's home
Photos and a signed work order, every visit, no exceptions. It protects you more than it protects us.
FL license, your own vehicle and tools
Multimeter included. We reimburse the mileage.

Someone came out the same day I called and diagnosed the problem with my Samsung front-loading washing machine in just a few minutes. Andrew was prompt and courteous. It was late on a Friday so we had to wait a couple of days for the part to come in, then he came back Monday and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. It seemed a little pricey but they offer a discount to new customers and didn't charge a credit card fee. It would have cost at least double to replace the whole washer, and it's running good as new again, so I can't complain!
